Hiring a contractor can be daunting, which is why we've compiled a list of some of the most common questions I get from new clients. If your question isn’t answered, please feel free to get in touch and I’ll help you as much as I can.
What experience do Your Fence Co have?
Your Fence Co has installers with over 15 years industry experience to install your fence with the quality you deserve.
We have administrators proficient with HOA applications, permitting documentations, and navigation of the undergound utility locations website. We also have an on-site notary to help with turn around time.
How long will it take to get my fence installed?
Due to the paperwork required to prevent fines for both the homeowner and us, it can take from 6-8 weeks for the entire process. The HOA has up to 45 days to approve the fence which is the longest process. While waiting for the HOA approval we apply for the city/county permit, which is picked up from their office the day before your installation. The next step is placing your 811 underground locates order so we don't hit any underground utilities (Sprinklers are not marked). After all is complete we provide you with our earliest install date. If you already have your HOA approval or don't need a permit, the process goes a little faster.
Do I pay extra for my permit?
We charge a $100 processing fee for compiling all necessary paperwork for the city/county permit and HOA. Additionally, if your HOA has a fee, you would be required to pay them directly, and the cost of the city/county permit will be invoiced at completion. This is all outlined in your contract as well
